Context and objective

A personal and realistic professional project assumes that it is in line with the participant's skills and aspirations, as well as with market expectations. This requires a work in three stages which represents the spheres of “what we know how to do”, “what we want to do” and finally “what the market expects”.

Program

Module 1: Detecting the variety of careers

  • Understand the current socio-economic fabric

  • Understand the structure of the job market for PhDs and research staff

  • Become aware of the variety of the field of possibilities

Module 2: Become aware and express your skills

  • Analyze their experiences in order to identify the skills developed (knowledge, know-how, interpersonal skills)

  • Express and enhance your skills with a "corporate vocabulary"

  • Imagine other professions in which these resources could prove useful, in order to become aware of the transferability of skills

Module 3: Identifying your aspirations

  • Get to know yourself better in order to decipher your sources of motivation, your mode of operation and your natural role

  • Reflect on your values and work environments

Module 4: Defining possible future professionals

  • Define your priorities in terms of skills, aspirations and motivations and deduce "business components" Ad hoc

  • Identify career paths including priorities and constraints

  • Position yourself in relation to "what I am", "what I can do" and "what I want to do"

Module 5: Finalize the definition of your professional project

  • Know the tools to go further in your knowledge of organizations, professions and sectors

  • Discover the business survey methodology and build your network to learn about professional environments

  • Define an action plan to finalize the construction of your professional project and launch a job search in order to make it a reality
