Employment 2016

The Employment Project is an annual survey on the career pursuit of doctors. It is shared between several higher education structures in ÃŽle-de-France to benefit from a more global panorama on the pursuit of doctors at the regional level. This allows the different higher education structures to situate themselves in this panorama. It makes it possible to understand the mechanisms of the job market for doctors and to follow its evolution.

The strong points of the project are to have data over several years and to follow its evolution, to be able to measure the evolution of the situation between 1 year and 3 years of the situation of the doctors after the defense, and to have key indicators on the career pursuit of doctors, including their professional project and their development, the added value of the doctorate and the skills acquired during the doctorate and the satisfaction of doctors.

The 2016 edition of the Employment survey was carried out this year by the University of Paris-Saclay, in partnership with Sorbonne Universities, University of Paris-Est, University of Sorbonne Paris Cité, University of Paris Sciences and Letters, and carried out by the Innovation & Studies division of the Adoc Talent Management firm with the support of the Île-de-France Region.
