HeR-Lab
Her Empowerment & Ressources Lab

Discover our webinars and conferences

The HeR-Lab (Her Empowerment & Resources Lab) project brings together women and tech companies to co-create concrete and innovative HR solutions aimed at strengthening the inclusion of women in the digital sector in Belgium.

This one-year project is divided into four main phases over the course of 2026. The project begins with an initial Diagnosis and Awareness phase to refine findings and mobilize the ecosystem. To this end, a survey of companies is being conducted to identify the obstacles and levers encountered, and three webinars/awareness conferences open to all are being scheduled. The second phase consists of a three-day Hackathon to bring out innovative solutions from people who are volunteers and committed to this cause. The third phase, entitled Incubation and

Experimentation in Business, will allow the emerging HR tools from the Hackathon to be tested and adjusted in real environments. Finally, the project is accompanied by a Communication & Dissemination phase in order to share the results of the project and a useful toolkit for companies with everyone.

Who is the project aimed at?

The project is based on a simple but essential belief: inclusion cannot be achieved alone. It requires the joint mobilization of the women concerned (students, recent graduates, professionals working or retraining in the digital sector) and the companies, HR departments, and managers who shape their career paths. Researchers working on related topics and anyone (men and women) who would like to learn more and/or get involved are also welcome. Everyone will contribute to this project, whether during the information and diagnostic phases or during the hackathon and testing of innovative projects.

PARTOUT

An expert coach in female leadership and skills development, Nawal has been supporting leaders, managers, and teams in highly digitalized, multicultural, and rapidly changing environments across four continents and seven countries for over 20 years. She has trained and coached talent within leading international groups such as Salesforce, Google, Criteo, NetApp, and Sopra Steria, where the demand for performance, agility, and innovation is at the heart of human challenges. With a Master's degree in Human Resources, she combines a structured approach to skills development with the transformational power of emotional intelligence and systemic analysis. In particular, she supports women leaders in strengthening their impact, posture, and influence, while creating environments of psychological safety, which are essential for sustainable performance in complex technological contexts.

What if tech needed female leadership? Women are vastly underrepresented in leadership roles, and those who do reach them face persistent systemic barriers. This webinar offers a change of perspective. Rather than asking why women do not occupy more positions in tech, we will ask another, more uncomfortable but essential question: What if the dominant leadership model in tech is simply not attractive or sustainable for women? Through the current situation in Belgium, we will explore the barriers to female leadership in digital, the specific challenges faced by the few women leaders in the sector, and above all, how female leadership, based on emotional intelligence and cooperation, could create a “magnet” effect, capable of attracting, retaining, and bringing more women into decision-making roles in tech. This webinar is for anyone who wants to reinvent leadership models to build a more inclusive, effective, and sustainable digital world.
