“Mais au fond, que vaut un doctorat ?” conference

A PhD is often presented as "the highest academic degree." But how is it truly perceived? As a mark of expertise, a sign of elitism, or a profile that is difficult to integrate into the corporate world? In this presentation, Nicolas Lopes and Alexandre Bran, PhD, explore the various perceptions of the doctorate: by the general public, by PhD holders themselves, and by recruiters, for whom a "PhD" can sometimes remain difficult to decrypt on a resume.

Webinar – Career breaks and sector changes: how do recruiters perceive these career paths?

Career breaks and transitions between sectors can raise questions during the recruitment process. How are these career paths perceived by recruiters? What are the best practices for presenting and highlighting them? In this webinar hosted by Sophie Bouccara, PhD, researcher at LID, recruitment consultant, and trainer, recruiters from the public and private sectors share their insights and advice. The discussion particularly addresses transparency regarding career breaks and how to showcase transferable skills during a sector transition.
