The SECURE2 Project

The SECURE2 project is a European Union funded intiative that builds on the recntly completed SECURE project.

Its aim is to implement the recommendations of the European Research Framework (RCF) in order to improve research career profression and mobility and to reduce professional precarity across Europe. Adoc Talent Management is one of the project's 17 partners.

Continuity with SECURE project

The SECURE project led to the development of a set of recommendations designed to improve research careers and reduce precarity in Europe.

This guide puts forward more than 80 concrete actions-oriented recommendations addressed to research performing organisations (RPOs) and research funding organisations (RFOs), covering in particular recruitment, training, career progression and researcher mobility. These recommendations provide a foundation on which concrete actions can be implemented.

Over a four year period (from June 2025 to June 2029), SECURE2 aims to roll out these recommendations within European institutions and to support their implementations through concrete and sustainable institutional changes.

To achieve these objectives, SECURE2 relies on a experimental approach based on the implementation of pilot projects in at least eight European institutions, through tailored actions plans co-designed with participating institutions.
